LODGING
Whispering Pines Inn
Capacity: 64
Description: Our hotel style Whispering Pines Inn offers rooms with 2 queen beds and kitchen, 1 queen/1 bunk bed and kitchen, and 1 queen/1 bunk bed. Each room includes a private bath, closet, dresser, and air conditioning. All rooms have a breathtaking view of our beautiful Lake Ouachita and are within walking distance of the Campfire Bowl.
The Lodge
Capacity: 30
Description: The Lodge has six rooms on the ground level and an upstairs loft. Our rooms and loft are furnished with bunk beds and all rooms have indoor bathroom and shower access.
Rustic Cabins
Capacity: 9 per cabin, 20 cabins, 180 total capacity
Description: Our Rustic Cabins hold up to 9 people in bunk beds. All cabins have lights, electrical outlets, air conditioning, but no heat. Rustic cabins do not have bathrooms or showers, but Shower Houses are located within walking distance of all cabins.
Camping
Capacity: as much as needed
Primitive campsites all over our property offer an authentic camping experience. Fire pits are available in some areas and camp fires are allowed unless a county fire ban exists.
Shower Houses
Description: Shower Houses are located in both the Girl’s and Boy’s Villages. Our Shower Houses accommodate our guests using the rustic cabins as well as tent campers.
MEETING SPACES
Dining Hall and Kitchen
Capacity: 400
Description: The Dining Hall is a multipurpose meeting space for groups up to 400. This open-floor room features an 8’x16’ stage, folding chairs and tables, and a complete sound system. Our Dining Hall complex also features a large deck overlooking the lake that can be used for additional seating during meals or events. Our full commercial kitchen can be rented to do your own group cooking or our staff can cook for your group. The Dining Hall is often used for religious meetings, corporate events, banquets, and weddings.
The Lodge Meeting Room
Capacity: 50
Description: The Lodge Meeting Room contains a large fireplace covered with natural stone and quartz crystals, a vaulted ceiling with large glass windows providing a view of the camp, and a small kitchen which guests can use to prepare meals. The Lodge can accommodate groups up to 50.
Town Hall
Capacity: 150
Description: Town Hall is a multipurpose meeting area that will accommodate about 150 people. It is nestled in the trees and is a very nice option for groups to consider as a meeting room.
Campfire Bowl
Capacity: 200
Description: The Campfire Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater with a stage, sound system, and controlled lighting. The bowl overlooks the lake and is an ideal setting for evening programming and weddings. Guests have many opportunities to enjoy fantastic sunsets reflecting on the lake. Bench style seating over the natural gravel surface accommodates groups up to 200.
Gymnasium
Capacity: 150
The Gymnasium is an open-aired meeting space that can accommodate groups up to 150. It is ideal for holding meetings when the weather is comfortable. The Gymnasium has a roof and is closed in on two sides.
Cowboy Camp
Capacity: 100
Cowboy Camp is a rustic, western themed outdoor meeting area that will accommodate about 100 people. Cowboy Camp features bench style seating and a fire pit.
Indian Camp
Capacity: About 100
Indian Camp features 3 authentic Indian teepees, a fire pit, and several benches that surround the fire pit. Guests sit crisscross on the ground as there is not a benched seating area at Indian Camp
OTHER AMENITIES
Swim Dock
Description: Our protected cove contains a dock system which encircles the entire swim area. The dock features a shallow area for young children, an area to swim laps, lifeguard stands to monitor swimmers, and two diving boards: one low dive and one high dive.
Canoe/Kayak Area
Description: Guests may check out canoes and kayaks to explore the beautiful scenery of Lake Ouachita.
Ski Dock
Description: We have a fleet of 2 Moomba ski and wakeboard boats, one large party barge, and 2 smaller barges. We provide many boating activities including wakeboarding, skiing, kneeboarding, barefooting, tubing, lake tours, and SCUBA diving excursions.
Ball Field
Our large ballfield can be used for group games such as capture-the-flag, football, soccer, softball, or any other game requiring large, open spaces.
Gymnasium
Our open-air gymnasium has 2 basketball hoops and plenty of room for other group games. The Gymnasium has a roof and is closed in on two sides.
Horse Barn and Corral
The Horse Barn and Corral house our fourteen horses. We offer trail rides during the summer season.
Climbing Wall
Our climbing wall may be rented for a single climb or by the hour. You must either provide your own instructors or our staff can assist you.
Tiger Exhibit
Come visit Sheba, our five-year old Siberian Tiger. She has been a part of CYB since she was a cub. For safety precautions, all visitors must stay outside the fenced areas.
The Fire Tower
Come experience gorgeous views of the lake from The Fire Tower. The hike to the tower is about one mile, round trip. Be sure to bring your camera for this unforgettable experience.
Hiking trails
CYB has numerous hiking trails ranging from easy to strenuous in difficulty level. Each trail offers unique opportunities to see wildlife and wildflowers.
